On Sunday, May 19, after church, we will hold a Kitchen Table Conversation about our budget for the 2013 and 2014 fiscal year. All are invited. At that time, the Trustees will present a proposed budget for our discussion.
Taking into account feedback from this Kitchen Table Conversation, the Prudential Committee and Board of Trustees will hold a combined meeting on Tuesday, May 21 to craft a final budget which will be presented to the congregation for a vote at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 29.
Many ask, “How are we doing with the budget and campaign?”. As of Thursday, May 16, we have $424,019 in hand. To date, 203 pledges have been received, 44 of which did not pledge last year. Of the pledges received, 148 (or 73%) increased their pledge amount. However, we still need to raise $54,981 to meet our immediate needs. We are waiting to hear from about 60 households.
