A Covenant of Discipleship: The Rev. Peter Cook addressed the gathering at our Annual Meeting to acknowledge church leaders, staff, volunteers and long-time members, and to lay out a vision of a strong future of discipleship at First Congregational Church of Burlington.
Please plan to attend our All-Church Retreat on Tuesday, June 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. Everyone, including High School Students, are invited to join the next steps in the discussion around the re-organization of First Church governance.
This evening is shaping up to be one of the most important in recent church history. Having passed an amendment to our bylaws, we now have the flexibility to create new paths of governance, productivity, and spirit within our walls and beyond. This 2-3 year journey begins in earnest on June 10. Please plan to be there to celebrate our strengths and lend your voice to help us move forward.
