Please plan to gather after the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday, September 21st for a special First Church Forum discussion with Rev. Adrianne Carr. Adrianne will offer her reflections on ministry and all the ups and downs she has encountered while pastoring at First Congregational Church and in our community these many years.
Adrianne served as Associate Director of Community Ministries of Rockville, MD and Community Ministry of Montgomery County, MD. Prior to her community ministry work, she was a Catholic Missionary in Taiwan with the Maryknoll Sisters. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary. Rev. Carr was called to First Congregational Church in 1996 as Associate Minister. She will retire at the end of this month.
