Sign-ups for Pick-A-Party FUNdraiser Events are off to a fantastic start! To sign up for a party or event of your choice, visit the Pick-A-Party table during the fellowship gathering on Sundays, or contact the Church Office. Sign-ups will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, and payment is due upon sign-up (Cash or check payable to “First Congregational Church” will be accepted; you may also pay online via credit card or bank account). You will receive a reminder card for each party you purchase. All proceeds from party ticket sales will benefit the ministries and mission of First Congregational Church!
There are just a couple of openings left in these November and December parties:
- Family Fun Night and Dinner, Saturday, November 15, 2014 — Families of children aged 2-12 are invited to the Polli house for open play in our basement fun house. Dinner and dessert will be served.
- Play Poker for Ice Cream!, Sunday, November 23, 2014 — Come join card shark Andy Barker for an evening of betting and bluffing. Winners bring home 3 pints of ice cream!
- Dinner & Conversation at Susan’s, Friday, December 5, 2014 — Susan Saunders invites you to join her in her home for appetizers, a delicious home-cooked dinner, dessert, coffee/tea and conversation with friends old and new!

Put Your Party Hats On!
It’s almost here! The Pick-a-Party brochure will be available on Sunday, October 26th for your reading pleasure. We have 19 wonderful hosts and hostesses offering a wide array of parties and activities. We are looking forward to some fabulous times and relationship-building ahead. Party costs range from $5 -$75 dollars, and events include a wide variety, from intimate dinner parties to family and children’s activities for 20 people or more. There is fun to be had for every age; all are great opportunities for nights out socializing with our church family — some costing less than the price of a movie!
On Sunday, November 2, we will have hosts and hostesses available after the 10 a.m. worship, to help you make your choices of parties to attend. Please have cash, check or credit card available for payment when you sign up. Let’s fill all the parties to the brim with the names of our parishioners and consider including some new friends you might like to introduce to our church family.
