Women’s Book Group – Mon, Dec 15

Christmas BooksThe “Women of the Church” Book Group will meet on Monday, December 15 for our Annual Holiday Treat Swap and Story Sharing. Join us for a favorite holiday book lovers’ tradition. Bring your favorite Christmas poem or short story to read aloud, and also bring a batch of your favorite holiday goodies to swap. We’ll have tea and hot chocolate, along with warm fellowship. At the end of the evening, you’ll take home an assortment of holiday treats (unless we eat them all!). All are welcome!

Whered You GoThen, on Monday, January 26th, plan to meet and discuss “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” by Maria Semple. A National Best Seller “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” is praised by The New York Times as “Comedy heaven…. This divinely funny, many-faceted novel…leaves convention behind.” Semple offers “a compulsively readable and touching novel about misplaced genius and a mother and daughter’s role in an absurd world.”
