The Interim Senior Minister Search Team is excited to announce the call to Reverend Carrie Bail to serve as our Interim Senior Minister. Carrie comes to us with settled ministerial and interim experience. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her Master’s in Divinity at the Pacific School of Religion. Most recently, Carrie served as the Interim Minister at the First Congregational Church in East Longmeadow, MA. While Carrie has many strengths, what impressed us most was her strong preaching, her experience inspiring lay people, and her ministry helping the churches she serves work through healing and reconciliation, leading them into readiness for the future with their settled minister. Carrie’s husband, Darius Jonathan, is a Senior Lecturer of Arabic at the University of Vermont. Carrie and Darius are looking forward to living in the same city. They have a son and twin daughters. Please join us as we welcome Rev. Bail this summer. She will begin her ministry with us on July 1.
