Ronald McDonald House: Celebrating 30 Years!

Celebrating 30 Years: Reception & Celebration at the Ronald McDonald House
Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 11am (immediately following the 10am worship service)

The Board of Directors of Vermont’s Ronald McDonald House, including our own Sally Wichert, are extending a special invitation to our congregation to come to an “Open House” immediately following the 10am worship service on Sunday, February 16.  Refreshments will be offered along with a tour of “the house that love built!”

Since Valentine’s Day in 1984, our historic parsonage has housed the local Ronald McDonald House mission, providing a home away from home for families of children who are patients at the Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care.  This worthy program has helped thousands of families in the last thirty years!   Our partnership with the Ronald McDonald House has been very successful because of the positive mission that we are empowering (by offering the property with a long term lease for a dollar a year) and because the building and grounds have been beautifully renovated and maintained.

This is a great opportunity to take a look at our historic, renovated parsonage and to learn more about the mission of the Ronald McDonald House.  Please plan to come to the Open House at 11am on Sunday, February 16th (16 S Winooski Ave, Burlington, VT)!
