COTS Walkathon 2014 is set for Sunday, May 4, starting at Battery Park in Burlington. Information and details about helping out as a “walk-day volunteer” will be available after worship on Sundays and at the Church Office. The first COTS Walkathon in 1990 started from our Sanctuary; we have long had close ties with this important local program and event.
James Durbin of American Idol fame is donating his time and talent to kick off the 25th COTS Walkathon with some great music! First Church will be an official “rest stop” on the Walkathon. Musicians will play from our front porch, our volunteers will greet walkers, and our restrooms and fabulous new water fountain will be open!
