Christmas Poinsettia & Christmas Mission Offering: All are invited to donate poinsettias to decorate the church during Advent and Christmas and/or to give a donation to the Christmas Mission Offering for VIA – Vermont Interfaith Action!

• In Memory of/In Honor of: Gifts to the Christmas Mission Offering for VIA – Vermont Interfaith Action, and donations for poinsettias, may be made “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone special to you. Please be sure to note your choice on the form (linked above). Gifts and remembrances will be listed in both the Blue Christmas (8 a.m.) and the Christmas Sunday (10 a.m.) Orders of Worship on Sunday December 22.
• By December 17: Please submit donations by December 17. Gifts can be made online, (scroll down in the giving options to find the Christmas Mission or Christmas Poinsettias Offerings) with cash, or by check made payable to the First Congregational Church, MEMO: Christmas Mission &/or Christmas Poinsettias. • Poinsettias: After decorating our Sanctuary for Advent and Christmas, many of the donated poinsettias are delivered to home-bound church members after the holiday worship services.
• Christmas Mission Offerings: Donations to the Christmas Mission offering will be dedicated in support of: Vermont Interfaith Action. VIA’s mission is: “to create solutions to systemic issues that prevent our most vulnerable citizens from enjoying the quality of life God intends for us all.” Our Outreach Team invites you to support this important work with a donation to our “Christmas Mission Offering” in December.
