About Pastoral Care
First Church believes in being the “stretcher bearer” for those challenging seasons when we need each other most.
Rooted in faith and guided by love, our ministers and lay-led care team provide spiritual guidance, emotional care, and practical assistance. Through visits, prayers, and presence, we strive to reflect God’s love and grace by walking alongside one another in life’s joys and struggles.
Prayer Ministry
Sometimes what you need is someone to pray with you, to listen, and to hold space for what you are experiencing.
Visits and Connection
Through visits at home, or in the hospital, support groups, and phone calls, our ministers and lay care team provide a caring presence.
Support
Sometimes you just need an extra hand. Our care team helps organize meal trains, emergency assistance, and rides to and from important appointments.
