OFFICIAL MEETING WARNING: Pursuant to Articles VII and X, Sections 2, 4, and 5, of the By-Laws of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Burlington, Vermont: The 219th Annual Meeting of the Congregation will be held at First Church on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 11:45am, with an option to attend via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.
The agenda for the meeting will be:
- Electing all officers, boards and teams;
- Voting on the budget for fiscal year January 1 – December 31, 2025;
- Any other business which may properly come before the members assembled.

The First Church ANNUAL MEETING will be held on Sunday February 2, 2025 in person at First Congregational Church. Virtual participation via Zoom will also be available as an option. The Zoom link will be available here and on the front page of our website on February 2.
The 10am worship on February 2 – in person and live-streamed on the First Church YouTube Channel – will include some key parts of our Annual Meeting Sunday:
- “The State of the Church” – the Rev. Elissa Johnk’s (sermon).
- The remembrance of deceased members (January 2024 – January 2025).
- The honoring of “Golden” members” & new members
- Communion – open to all.
