New Alpha Missionary Baptist Church — An independent congregation worshiping at First Congregational Church of Burlington with which we have had a warm relationship for over twenty years.

Possibility Shop — A church-run thrift shop located at First Church providing affordable clothing and household items.

Small Potatoes — A program offering free meals on Saturday mornings, hosted by First Church and organized in collaboration with the Burlington Friends Meeting.

Joint Urban Ministry Project (JUMP) — An independent emergency assistance organization housed at First Congregational Church and supported by our church and more than twenty other local faith communities.

James Hospital and School of Nursing, Tamil Nadu, India — An international health and health education ministry in India which began through the ministry and leadership of our former Senior Minister, Rev. Robert Lee. Contact First Church office for information.

The Committee for Temporary Shelter (COTS) — An organization that provides emergency shelter, services, and housing for homeless persons in Vermont.

Alcoholics Anonymous — A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help other to recover from alcoholism.

Al-Anon — A fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems.

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity — Changing the lives of local families through simple, decent, and affordable housing.

Feeding Chittenden — Working to alleviate hunger by feeding people and cultivating opportunities.

Ronald McDonald House, Burlington, Vermont — A “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children seeking treatment at the UVM Medical Center.

Dismas House — Transitional housing for recently incarcerated inmates with a mission of reconciling prisoners with society and society with prisoners.

Age Well – Meals on Wheels — An organization dedicated to addressing senior nutrition issues and eradicating senior hunger.
